to sew again.

I used to design/make my clothes in high school. a handy skill when your legs are too long and you’re build straight as a stick. At this point, I haven’t gotten out the sewing machine in over 3 years!

Granted, I don’t really have room for it. The machine itself isn’t too big, but the event that is creating even the smallest garment takes a lot of space. So, I either have to come up with a space that can handle being sewing central, or I have to pack everything up every night and take it out every day (not very conducive to the creative process, since setting up and breaking down sometimes seem like too big a chore to be worth it)

But the MAIN reason I haven’t done anything has been a lack of inspiration. Well, I lack that no more! In fact, my sketch book is full of design after design and if I ever got around to making everything, I would have my own clothing line! It’s a little ridiculous, honestly. At this point, I’m almost getting depressed by the fact that I could have all these things and I haven’t made them yet.

So, inspiration is here! Now I just need motivation…well, really I just need space…and time…and it might be a while before I actually do this >.<
